Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the SecureVideoStream platform operated by SecureVideoStream ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the SecureVideoStream platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the service.

2. Description of Service

SecureVideoStream is a DRM-protected video streaming platform that provides:

• Encrypted video hosting and streaming
• Digital Rights Management (DRM) content protection
• Admin panel for video and user management
• Remote video proxy for third-party sources (AWS S3, Google Drive, YouTube, etc.)
• AI-powered video transcription
• Embeddable video player with signed temporary URLs

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. Content Protection & DRM

Our platform employs Digital Rights Management to protect video content. You agree that you will NOT:

• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with DRM protections
• Record, capture, or screenshot protected video content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform
• Use automated tools to download or extract video content
• Share, redistribute, or resell DRM-protected content without authorization
• Tamper with license keys, session tokens, or signed URLs

Violation of content protection measures may result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use SecureVideoStream only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

• Upload, stream, or distribute content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or objectionable
• Use the service to distribute malware or engage in phishing
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Overload, flood, or spam the platform or its infrastructure
• Use the proxy feature to access content you do not have rights to

6. Content Ownership

• You retain ownership of content you upload to the platform
• By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to stream, encrypt, transcode, and display it through our platform
• You represent that you have all necessary rights to upload and distribute the content
• We do not claim ownership of your content

7. Third-Party Integrations

Our platform integrates with third-party services including Google Drive, YouTube, and AWS. By using these integrations:

• You agree to comply with the respective terms of service of each third-party platform
• You are responsible for ensuring you have proper rights to access and stream content from third-party sources
• We are not responsible for the availability or content of third-party services
• Google Drive integration requires OAuth consent — you can revoke access at any time

8. AI Transcription

• Transcription is performed locally using Whisper AI — no audio data is sent to external services
• Transcription accuracy is not guaranteed and may vary by language, audio quality, and content
• Generated transcriptions are stored alongside your video files
• You are responsible for reviewing and editing transcriptions for accuracy

9. Embeddable Player & Signed URLs

• Signed URLs are time-limited and encrypted — they expire as configured
• You are responsible for managing who has access to your embed codes and signed URLs
• Expired signed URLs cannot be reused or extended
• The embeddable player must not be modified to remove DRM protections or branding

10. Service Availability

• We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
• We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the past 12 months
• We are not responsible for content uploaded or streamed by users

12. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us
• We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately
• Content associated with terminated accounts may be deleted after 30 days

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
