Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the SecureVideoStream platform at securevideostream.com operated by SecureVideoStream ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the SecureVideoStream platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the service.

2. Description of Service

SecureVideoStream is a DRM-protected video streaming platform that provides:

• Encrypted video hosting and on-the-fly streaming
• Digital Rights Management (DRM) content protection
• Admin panel for video, user, and access management
• Remote video proxy for third-party sources (AWS S3, Google Drive, YouTube, EC2)
• AI-powered video transcription via Whisper
• Embeddable video player with public embed IDs
• Multi-account Google Drive integration via OAuth 2.0
• Subscription plans with usage-based limits
• Signed temporary URLs for secure sharing

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• One person or entity per account — account sharing is not permitted

4. Subscription Plans & Usage Limits

• We offer Free, Starter ($5/mo), Pro ($10/mo), and Business ($20/mo) plans
• Each plan has limits on storage, video uploads, Google Drive links, connected accounts, and AWS connections
• Exceeding your plan limits will prevent new uploads/connections until you upgrade
• Existing videos and connections remain active even if limits are reached
• Plan changes take effect immediately
• We reserve the right to modify plan features and pricing with 30 days notice

5. Content Protection & DRM

Our platform employs Digital Rights Management to protect video content. You agree that you will NOT:

• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with DRM protections
• Record, capture, screenshot, or screen-record protected video content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to download or extract video content
• Share, redistribute, or resell DRM-protected content without authorization
• Tamper with license keys, session tokens, embed IDs, or signed URLs
• Remove or modify DRM badges, watermarks, or anti-capture protections

Violation of content protection measures may result in immediate account termination and potential legal action under applicable copyright laws.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use SecureVideoStream only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

• Upload, stream, or distribute content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or objectionable
• Use the service to distribute malware, viruses, or engage in phishing
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, data, or videos
• Overload, flood, or spam the platform or its infrastructure
• Use the proxy feature to access content you do not have legal rights to
• Resell or sublicense access to the platform without written permission
• Use the service for any purpose that violates local, national, or international law

7. Content Ownership & Licensing

• You retain full ownership of content you upload to the platform
• By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to stream, encrypt, transcode, and display it through our platform
• You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to upload and distribute the content
• We do not claim ownership of your content
• We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws

8. Third-Party Integrations

Our platform integrates with third-party services. By using these integrations:

• You agree to comply with the respective terms of service of each platform (Google, YouTube, AWS)
• You are responsible for ensuring you have proper rights to access and stream content from third-party sources
• We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services
• Google Drive integration requires OAuth consent — you can revoke access at any time
• YouTube video caching is for quality optimization only and is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service
• AWS credentials are stored encrypted server-side and are never exposed to end users

9. Embed IDs & Public Sharing

• Embed IDs provide public access to specific videos without requiring viewer login
• You are responsible for managing and securing your embed IDs
• Embed IDs can be configured with view limits, expiry dates, and domain whitelists
• We are not responsible for unauthorized distribution of embed IDs you have shared
• We reserve the right to disable embed IDs that violate these Terms

10. AI Transcription

• Transcription is performed locally on our server using Whisper AI — no audio data is sent to external services
• Transcription accuracy is not guaranteed and may vary by language, audio quality, and content
• Generated transcriptions are stored alongside your video metadata
• You are responsible for reviewing and editing transcriptions for accuracy
• AI transcription is available on all plans, including Free

11. Service Availability

• We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
• We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions
• Third-party service outages (Google, AWS, YouTube) may affect functionality

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the past 12 months
• We are not responsible for content uploaded, streamed, or distributed by users
• We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure your credentials

13. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us
• We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for violation of these Terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately
• Content associated with terminated accounts may be deleted after 30 days
• Embed IDs associated with terminated accounts will be deactivated
• Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that accrued prior to termination

14. Intellectual Property

The SecureVideoStream platform, including its code, design, logos, and documentation, is the intellectual property of SecureVideoStream. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SecureVideoStream from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
